Dr. Mark Edwards is a native of Lawrence, Kansas. Dr. Edwards has been in
private practice as a Periodontist in Lawrence for 25 years, and has been a
part-time faculty member in Graduate Periodontics at the University of
Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry for the same period of time. He
received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln,
followed by a two-year residency in Periodontics at Louisiana State University
Medical Center. Dr. Edwards is a Diplomate of the American Board of
Periodontology.
Dr. Edwards is past president of the Douglas County Dental Society, First
District Dental Society and serves as a clinical Periodontal examiner. He is a
member of the Dental Calibration Committee, Exam Review Committee, and
the Computer Simulated Exam Committee for the Central Regional Dental
Testing Service. Dr. Edward’s wife Gretchen is a Dental Hygienist and they
have three children, Trent 20, Jensen, 15 and Nick 10.


Dr. Angela Wilson is in her 12th year of periodontal practice. She received her
Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City,
School of Dentistry. She attended the University of Nebraska College of
Dentistry for a three-year residency in Periodontics and there she also
received a Masters of Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Wilson is a Diplomate of the
American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Wilson is the past president of the Missouri-Kansas Society of Periodontists
and currently a delegate for the Kansas Dental Association. She is past
president of the Douglas County Dental Society and First District Dental
Society. Dr. Wilson lives in Lawrence with her husband Paul and two children,
Emma and Reed. She is actively involved with their school and the women’s
and children’s ministries at her church.



Dr. Trey Holt is a native of Arkansas, and has lived in the Greater Kansas City
Area since 2007. Dr. Holt received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the
University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he then
completed a two and a half year residency in Periodontics. Before beginning
his career in dentistry, Dr. Holt worked as a researcher in the Genetics
Department at Children’s Mercy Hospital. He is a contributing author on four
scientific publications, with a fifth article accepted for publication. Dr. Holt is
Board Eligible.
Dr. Holt has received a number of academic awards and honors, including
graduating Summa Cum Laude in both college and dental school. He is an
alumni member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society,
and has received the William S. Kramer Award of Excellence, as well as the
Dean’s Academic Distinction Award from UMKC. Dr. Holt is an avid sports fan,
and during his spare time also enjoys fishing and hiking.
